Stewart provided structural engineering on this new community center, which serves as a central location from which residents can access a variety of support services. The three-story, 106,000-square-foot center features offices, a café, exam rooms, visitation rooms, labs, computer labs, public meeting space, and secured entries.
In addition to being a welcoming facility for residents and a comfortable workplace for the center’s employees, the building was also designed to be net-zero ready. Stewart assisted with structural design and detailing for the inclusion of solar panels and a rooftop amenity space.
