We’re proud to share that three Stewart projects have been recognized at the AIA ASPIRE 2025 Design Awards, which celebrate architectural excellence across Georgia, North Carolina, and South Carolina. The annual program honors design that elevates communities and sets a standard of quality in the built environment.
SAFEchild Children’s Advocacy Center – AIA Aspire Honor Award

Designed by Gensler, the SAFEchild Children’s Advocacy Center received the Honor Award in the Civic/Healthcare category. Stewart provided landscape architecture, site civil engineering, and structural engineering services for this vital community space that supports children and families in Wake County.
Ella B. Scarborough Community Resource Center – Duke Energy Design Assistance Award

Designed by Gensler and Neighboring Concepts, the Ella B. Scarborough Community Resource Center earned the 2025 Duke Energy Design Assistance Award, recognizing the project’s positive community impact. Stewart supported the project with civil and structural engineering services.
UNC Chapel Hill Curtis Media Center – AIA Aspire 2025 Merit Award

Designed by Szostak Design, the Curtis Media Center at UNC Chapel Hill received a Merit Award in the Higher Education category. Stewart contributed landscape architecture, site civil engineering, SUE, and surveying services to support this forward-looking academic facility.
These recognitions underscore the strength of Stewart’s interdisciplinary approach, with civil, structural, landscape, and surveying expertise contributing to projects that make a difference in communities across the Carolinas.
