Stewart has a deep portfolio of higher education work, including completed projects on all 17 campuses in the UNC system, plus dozens more for universities and community colleges in the Southeast. Our teams have experience knitting new buildings into bustling campuses, making sense of existing infrastructure, and working on tight sites.

Campuses today need a mix of gathering spaces to support large groups, quiet contemplative spaces for individual or small group studying, and flexible spaces to handle everything in between. Stewart’s site design teams excel at creating moments and places within the larger campus context to suit the way students and staff inhabit the space.
