150 Fayetteville Plaza and Streetscape

Stewart provided site design for exterior upgrades to the highly visible office building at 150 Fayetteville Street, including new outdoor dining spaces and refreshed plantings. The streetscape plantings along Fayetteville Street, West Hargett Street, and South Salisbury Street were also refreshed. The highlight of the redesign and a key focal point of the project is the renovation of Bagwell Plaza. Bagwell plaza is located on the north side of the building with access from both Salisbury and Fayetteville Street. Previously a lifeless space, Stewart worked to bring a sense of vitality back to the plaza through the addition of outdoor amenities. As part of the project, a large, sculptural multi-person swing feature serves as a beacon to draw people into the space. An outdoor eatery/kiosk, outdoor dining areas, and new plantings also serve to improve user experience. The result was an exterior facelift that will benefit building tenants and the public alike.
